Our Home Board N Train Starter Dog is a premier program that takes pride in providing customized training for a specific tasks. Our team of highly skilled behavioral specialists will work closely with your to train dog the dog into a service dog tailored to your individual needs. Your dog assigned will receive constant attention and care while living with their trainer and/or host home, ensuring a personalized training experience. Every case has unique requirements, which is why our trainers will create a customized training plan and teach up to three tasks or train the dog up to public access to include DPT. The duration of the program will depend on the length of training and tasks needed. All Home N Board dogs live within a trainers home while having a training dog also be of assistance. Upon completion, your dog will receive prestigious certificates, including the AKC CGC and AKC Public Access Certificate. We offer nationwide transportation and assistance during the transition, while also providing guidance on handling your newly trained service dog. Our tone of voice is one of compassion, dedication, and commitment to providing you with the perfect service dog companion. Our program offers the opportunity to gain a starter dog trained in tasks and includes 24 hours of free consulting to guide you through task training.

Our program offers the opportunity to gain a starter dog trained in tasks and includes 24 hours of free consulting to guide you through training, or the option to have us train up to three tasks, including DPT. We believe in fair and reasonable pricing, based on the hours needed to train the tasks.

Clover would be a great alert/Respond for seizures and non bearing mobility tasks,
Clover has graduated her basic and advanced obedience along with her intro training to public access. She has been trained to response to seizures as well as anchoring when sleeping. She recently alerted prior to a seizure and is advancing to polish her tasks up. She starts her advance public access after the holidays.
Oakie is in his first phases of basic training learning to sit lay and stay. Oakie is a lover and eager to please. Oakie can be trained for Alert/Response/Mobility. He comes home with up to three tasks plus deep pressure therapy, AKC Urban Public Access and AKC Canine Good Citizenship Certifications along with a completion of certificate for graduating the program. To accommodate our future clients, we provide a $500 non-refundable hold amount for two weeks. Following the two-week period, you will receive an invoice to pay the agreed non-refundable deposit amount, which will be credited with the $500 hold. If you have spoken to a member of our team and they have placed a dog on hold please click below to pay your hold fee today!
We charge $150 an hour, plus $125 a day the dog has been home boarding to cover food, vet expenses, equipment that they come home with, along with what Healing Paws paid the breeder for the dog. Starter dogs are a minimum 60 hours to where fully trained dogs without Alerting is a minimum of 120 hours. Alert dogs can take two months to six month longer which equals to 20 - 60 more hours to train. We offer traveling package for extra, time plus expenses. We tranport our own dogs in order for trainer to travel and spend four days with you and the dog to ensure you know how to use your dog correctly this is all covered in the transportation fee the month before the dog is due to come home. We ask for a $6,000 - $8,000 non refundable deposit to start training on any dog than an agreed monthly payment. What balance is owed at the time they graduate. This is due upon delivery. If you fail payments for three months or fail to have the final pay at time of delivery you forfeit the deposit and the dog.
