The Service Dog Program provides a range of services such as mobility assistance, alert/response training, and psychiatric support specifically for individuals with PTSD, autism, seizures, and fibromyalgia. Program dogs is are hand picked and owned by the company until fully paid by New Handler.
Our Home Board N Train Starter Dog is a premier program that takes pride in providing customized training for a specific dog breed. Our team of highly skilled behavioral specialists will work closely with your dog to train them into a service dog tailored to your individual needs. Your dog will receive constant attention and care while living with their trainer and/or host home, ensuring a personalized training experience. Every dog has unique requirements, which is why our trainers will create a customized training plan and teach up to three tasks or train the dog up to public access. The duration of the program will depend on the length of training and tasks needed. All Home N Board dogs live within a trainers home while having a training dog also be of assistance. Upon completion, your dog will receive prestigious certificates, including the AKC CGC and AKC Public Access Certificate. We offer nationwide transportation and assistance during the transition, while also providing guidance on handling your newly trained service dog. Our puppy training program offers a comprehensive approach to ensuring that your furry friend grows up to be a well-behaved and socially adept dog. Through crate training, we teach your puppy to view their crate as a safe and comfortable space, making potty training and travel much easier. We also focus on socialization, helping your puppy learn how to interact with other dogs and people in a calm and friendly manner. Additionally, our leash and behavioral training techniques help establish good habits and manners on walks. We also work on teaching puppies how to greet others calmly, and how to be comfortable with being touched and handled by strangers. Moreover, we provide guidance on common puppy behaviors such as barking, nipping, or jumping, helping your little one learn appropriate ways to express themselves. Our training is carried out in a positive and encouraging tone, ensuring a happy and enjoyable learning experience for both you and your puppy. All puppies must be vaccinated and a 8 weeks to 12 months. If you are sending your dog to us we use our inside transportation and or you can bring them to us.
Our Basic Inside training program is the perfect solution for teaching your dog important skills and behaviors. From basic commands like sit, lay, and stay to inside manners and polite behavior around guests, our comprehensive program covers it all. Our experienced trainers will also work on common issues such as barking, nipping, and jumping, as well as teaching your dog how to calmly greet people. You can also expect your dog to receive guidance on crate and potty training to establish good habits early on, along with tailored fundamentals will be trained throughout all levels for inside tasks. Designed for dogs aged 5 months to 12 months old, our training program uses a kind and patient tone of voice to ensure a positive learning experience.
The Outside Obedience training is a comprehensive program that encompasses various aspects of a dog's behavior. It covers socialization, recall, and leash training, each of which is a separate level of training. This means that participants will have the opportunity to master individual skills before moving on to the next level, tailored fundamentals will be trained throughout all levels for inside tasks. As with any training program, there will be testing at the end to assess the dog's progress. Graduation from this training will be a testament to the dog's obedience and obedience to their owner's commands. It is essential to understand that this training requires dedication, patience, and consistency from both dog and owner. But the end result will be a well-behaved and well-mannered dog that will kick off their public access training to be a breeze.
Public Access Prep training is specifically designed to prepare your dog for interacting with strangers and navigating through various environments with ease. During the training, your dog will learn to walk on a loose leash and follow commands such as sit, down, stay, and come. They will also be trained to ignore distractions such as other dogs, people, and items unless permitted. This will make it easier for you to take your dog out in public without worrying about their behavior around strangers. In addition, we will ensure that your dog can be handled by a stranger while waiting for your return, making them comfortable in new situations. By the end of the training, your dog will be fully equipped to greet friendly strangers in a calm and confident manner, making your outings an stress-free experience for both you and your furry friend. The prep training will offer you and your dog passing testing with ease. If you are within our service area testing is included within the package price.
Our Public Access training offers two levels: an introduction to public access and full public access. The introductory level provides a safe and comfortable space for your dog to become acquainted with public settings. Along with this, we cover the basics of manners and appropriate behavior. The full public access level takes your dog's training to the next level by teaching them how to navigate through different environments such as doors, elevators, and responding to tasks. We then progress to more challenging locations such as restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, schools, and doctor's offices, tailoring the training to fit your specific needs. By the end of both levels, your dog will be fully prepared to take the AKC Public Access test. Our training program will give your dog the skills and confidence to be a well-behaved and trustworthy companion in any public setting. We will train up to three tailored tasks. Each dog is taught front, side, back deep pressure therapy. We offer Alert/Response for allergies, seizures, pain levels, blood pressure, non weight bearing mobility, Weight Bearing Mobility (if dogs qualifies), Crowd Control/Blocking, self harm and redirect. They will know how to do their tasks at home as well as in public.
