Service Dogs for children 4 years old to 18 years old.
The students at our school are fortunate to have the unique opportunity to learn directly from professionals in the dog industry. Our enrichment program offers a mentorship program with top behavioral specialists in their field, providing hands-on experience and guidance. In our Junior Training 101-102 courses, students have the chance to work with trained dogs from our Healing Paws Co Service dog program, learning important skills such as handling, reflection, and coping techniques. Each class consists of eight one-hour sessions, with each student being paired with their own dog. With a maximum of four students per class, each student receives individualized attention from a team consisting of a big brother or sister, a trained service dog, and a dedicated coach. Upon successfully completing levels 101-102, students can progress to other programs, which also help to raise funds towards their tuition. This hands-on approach not only provides valuable experience for the students, but also allows them to give back to their education.
After the student graduates 101-102 can participated in the Alumni Programs. To find the Alumni Programs please scroll down.
